integrity checking as part of the appointment process. As well as

may also be required to undertake a working with children check (if
required for the role) and a pre-employment health assessment. We

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the
above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar"
vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this,

from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period
of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses
the recruitment decision.
Position Profile: We are currently seeking
dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to appoint to clerical
positions withing our Freedom of Information Office. In this role,
successful applicant/s will be responsible for providing an
efficient clerical and administrative service to the Freedom of
Information Office. Key duties include, but are not limited to;
- Provides an efficient customer-focused telephone and email
enquiry service to the FOI;
- Receives all mail/email for FOI office and registers
requests on FOI Track Database;
- Maintains FOI application database to ensure timely
delivery and distribution of medical records and following up
of requests for opinion from other hospital departments;
- Performs duties in accordance with the EMHS Vision and
Values, WA Health Code of Conduct, Occupational Safety and
Health legislation, the Disability Services Act and the Equal
Opportunity Act and Government, WA Health, EMHS and
Departmental / Program specific policies and procedures.

Area Profile: The East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS)
comprises an extensive hospital and health service network that
aims to maintain and improve the health and wellbeing of more than
670,000 Western Australians in its catchment area.

tertiary, secondary and specialist health care services including
emergency and critical care, state trauma, elective and emergency
surgery, general medical, mental health, inpatient and outpatient
