The Role
Applicants who reside locally or within a reasonable distance of the school in Chidlow are strongly encouraged to apply.
The Cleaner in Charge is responsible for inducting, training, leading, and managing cleaning staff including relief staff; monitoring and ordering stock supplies within your budget; maintenance and stocktake of cleaning equipment; undertaking cleaning of allocated internal and external areas; opening and locking the school, including setting the security alarm system.
This role has two spilt shifts, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Sometimes this position requires you to work alone and other times within a team environment.
The successful applicant will ideally have good attention to detail and will be able to work well with others to ensure a clean and safe school environment. You will ideally be organised, reliable, and punctual.
The suitable applicant should work well both individually and as part of a team and have excellent knowledge that they can use cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods and practices.
