Camboon Primary School (PS) is an Independent Public School with students from a diverse range of backgrounds and a highly professional team of teachers and education assistants who provide explicit and engaging teaching and learning programs across all learning areas. Each teacher at Camboon PS is part of a collaborative team which ensures teaching and learning programs and assessments are consistent and that staff benefit from the sharing of expertise. Working as part of a team, teaching and non-teaching staff participate in whole school planning processes to plan for and implement consistent curriculum and policy from Kindergarten through to Year 6. The Role
The Cleaner in Charge is responsible for inducting, training, leading, and managing cleaning staff including relief staff; monitoring and ordering stock supplies within your budget; maintenance and stocktake of cleaning equipment; undertaking cleaning of allocated internal and external areas; opening and locking the school, including setting the security alarm system and conducting regular hand over with the Manager Corporate Services.
The successful applicant will ideally have good attention to detail and will be able to work well with others to ensure a clean and safe school environment. You will ideally be organised, reliable and punctual. The successful applicant should work well both individually and as part of a team and have excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods and practices.
