Position
Profile: The Senior Finance Analyst contributes to the
provision of financial and budgetary performance reporting and
analysis of the WA health system to support strategy development,
planning, purchasing and performance monitoring, management and
strategies for the WA Health system. Your key responsibilities will
include:
- Undertake robust
financial and budgetary performance reporting and analysis,
including ad-hoc analysis, of the WA health system to support
strategy development, planning, purchasing and performance
monitoring, management and strategies for the WA Health
system.
- Undertake the ongoing
monitoring and evaluation of Health Service Provider financial
performance, identifies performance concerns, and provides
input to System Manager financial performance management and
intervention, and evaluates Health Service Provider remediation
plans.
- Undertake research and
provides advice on new and emerging financial analytics
techniques and reporting methodologies. Supports the
development of methodologies to integrate different data
sources to enhance existing performance reporting and
analytics.

Eligibility to
Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants
must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be
an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live
and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent
appointments).

Conditions: WA Health engages staff in
positions of trust and responsibility. WA Health policies require

checking as part of the appointment process. As well as undertaking
a criminal record screening and integrity checking, you may also be
required to undertake a working with children check (if required
for the role) and a pre-employment health assessment. We may ask

Whilst this selection
process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may
also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the
health service. In addition to this, should the successful

most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process.
Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12)
months from when the authorised delegate endorses the
