In the role of Venues Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating venue hire operations across the State Library’s commercial spaces to ensure effective delivery of service to internal and external clients and partners.

How to apply
Your application should include:
- A current resume/CV with two work related referees (with one referee who is a current line manager preferred).
- A written application addressing the following Essential Work-Related Requirements (Selection Criteria) as stated on the JDF (to a maximum two (2) pages):
- Strong commitment to customer service and the delivery of quality services to the WA community.
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating the hire of venue spaces, including managing bookings, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with organisational policies.
- Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, cloud-based technologies, venue booking systems and financial systems.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems, identify efficiencies and make improvements in work tasks and services to clients

Future Vacancies
While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants found suitable for this position may be considered for ‘similar’ vacancies within the State Library of WA which arise within 12 months of the recruitment process being endorsed. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Future vacancies may be considered to fill fixed term, permanent, part-time or full-time or casual roles.
