Home Hospital Clinical Nurse!

Our Home
Hospital service enables eligible patients to be
transferred home and receive hospital standard care to complete
their recovery. The service is managed by the SMHS
Community Services program and was formerly known as
Hospital in the Home (HITH).
The Home Hospital
service:
- Provides
safe, quality care within the home or occassionally at one of
our Home Hospital clinics
- Reduces
hospital length of stay
- Lessens
the likelihood you will need emergency hospital care related to
your condition.
As a Hospital
in the Home Clinical Nurse, you will:
- Provide
expert clinical and professional care to ensure patient safety
and quality.
- Practice
within your scope, guided by the Nursing and Midwifery Board’s
Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart.
- Be
accountable to the Nurse Director and Director of
Nursing/Midwifery.
- Mentor
and role model for fellow nurses, contributing to the
advancement of the profession.

bases at Fiona Stanley Hospital and the Rockingham/Peel
region

Are you
eligible? To be eligible for appointment, applicants
must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be
an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live
and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent
appointments).

This is a recruitment pool
for Casual, Permanent Full-Time / Part-Time and Fixed-Term
Full-Time / Part-Time appointments, with the possibility of
extensions and/or permanency.

placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar
vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool
until 30/06/2026.
