ABOUT THE
OPPORTUNITY:
Our dedicated team of
Cleaners play a vital role in maintaining high
standards of cleaning in clinical, non‑clinical and administration
areas of Royal Perth Bentley Mount Lawley Group in
accordance with hospital standards and procedures.
Qualification and
Experience
- Ability
to work independently and part of a team
- Minimum
of one (1) year experience in cleaning services, preferably
within a hospital or healthcare environment
- Experience in the safe
use and handling of cleaning chemicals
- Experience operating
scrubber dryers, HEPA vacuums, carpet extractors or
similar cleaning equipment
- Demonstrated knowledge
of hygiene standards, universal precautions and
manual handling principles

Royal Perth Hospital,
Bentley Health Service and Mount Lawley Hospital are key hospitals
within the East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS), delivering a
broad range of high‑quality healthcare services to the Western
Australian community.
Royal Perth Hospital is a
major tertiary facility providing specialist medical services,
emergency care and major trauma services. Bentley Health Service
complements this by delivering sub‑acute care, rehabilitation and a
range of community‑based services. Mount Lawley Hospital provides
specialist mental health care through comprehensive inpatient and
outpatient services.
Together, these hospitals
work collaboratively to support patient care, education and
research across the metropolitan area, ensuring integrated,
person‑centred care for diverse communities.

This recruitment pool will
be open until 12/05/2026, and the following should be
noted:
- The
panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications
throughout this timeframe and will assess on a regular
basis.
- Suitable
applicants will be placed in a pool and appointments may be
made when similar vacancies occur within any EMHS facility
until 30/06/2026.
