This is for a Fixed Term Full Time
appointment at up to 76 hours per fortnight commencing on 28th
August 2026 until 29th December 2027, with the possibility of
extension(s).
An opportunity exists for
a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Manager to join the
Population Health team at Karratha Health Campus in the
Pilbara.
To be successful, you will have...
- Experience and
well-developed clinical nursing skills in a Child and Community
Health setting.
- Understanding of, and
commitment to, the aims and objectives of Primary Health Care
and Community Development.
- Demonstrated leadership,
management and communication skills with advanced problem
solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated leadership
working in a cross-cultural setting, considering the social
determinants particularly as they relate to Aboriginal
health.
- Current immunisation
certificate and demonstrated experience/knowledge in providing
immunisation services.
Position
Profile:
Utilises a high level of professional skills
and knowledge in partnership with individuals, families and
communities to increase the client’s capacity to manage their own
health care in a community health setting. Is accountable for the
quality of care given and provides leadership to optimise
achievement of objectives of the Pilbara Population Health Unit in
terms of client outcomes and community participation.
This role requires the ability to travel
within the region as required including overnight stays.
