We are seeking Consultants
to lead our multidisciplinary team in the Voluntary Assisted Dying
(VAD) service to deliver expert clinical care.
This is a permanent 0.9 FTE vacancy
(18 sessions / 72 hours per fortnight). We welcome applications for
fractional appointments and are open to negotiating scheduling and
clinical commitments.
In this role, you will promote
patient safety and quality of care. You will provide leadership,
supervision, and education, where relevant, for doctors in
training, Health Service Medical Practitioners and other health
workers. Collaborating with the Clinical Lead - VAD and fellow
Consultants, you will work to achieve national, state and SMHS
performance standards and targets. You will work within the scope
of clinical practice as defined and recommended by the SMHS Area
Medical Credentialing Committee.
