is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointment for 6 or
12 months.
Suitable
applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be
made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from
this pool until 31/08/2026.
Position Profile:
The role of Supervised Medical
Officer Psychiatry provides and promotes high quality and patient
centred care to inpatients and outpatients of the specialty under
the supervision of consultant psychiatrists.
Provides
training, supervision and education for Resident Medical Officers
(RMOs) and Interns. In collaboration with the interdisciplinary
team, works to achieve National, State and East Metropolitan Health
Service (EMHS) performance standards and the National Safety and
Quality Healthcare Standards.
This
role provides you the opportunity to rotate between the EMHS sites
for optimal experience and training opportunities.
Area Profile:
Royal Perth Hospital
(RPH) is Perth’s inner city, tertiary adult

State Major Adult Trauma Service, RPH offers tertiary-level
emergency medicine, mental health, complex and elective surgical

Armadale Health Service (AHS) is a general
hospital focused on providing a range of high-quality health carer
services in the community. The hospital, which is part of the
Armadale Kalamunda Group, is equipped with an Emergency Department
and Intensive Care Unit and provides high-quality general medical
and surgery services, rehabilitation, maternity, paediatric and
neonatal, mental health, renal medicine and dialysis services and
ambulatory care.
