Senior Registrar - Obstetrics &
Gynaecology
This
is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time and Fixed Term Part
Time appointments will be available for 6-12 months with the
possibility of extension(s).
Suitable
applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be
made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from
this pool until 30/09/2026.
Position Profile:
Senior Registrar or
RANZCOG Trainee Year 5 or 6 in Obstetrics and
Gynaecology:
Senior
Registrar or RANZCOG Trainee Year 5 or 6 in Obstetrics and
Gynaecology required for a busy tertiary unit. Applicants need to
be suitably skilled to manage Birth Suite, Obstetrics and
gynaecology outpatients and in patients in addition to common
emergency gynaecological presentations, including junior doctor
training and supervision. The roster is a 24/7 rotating roster with
adequate consultant support and supervision. We support the
completion of the RANZCOG Advanced Training Modules including the
Generalist Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Advanced Obstetrics and some
of the special interest ATMs. We support both full-time and
part-time applicants. Candidates will be encouraged in career
progression

Fiona Stanley Hospital
(FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range
of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a
comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit,
maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult
Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart
and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
Fremantle Hospital (FH) is a 300-bed specialist
hospital focused on providing high-quality aged care, mental
health, secondary rehabilitation, planned surgeries and medical
services.
