exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse to join the
Population Health team at Karratha Health Campus in the
Pilbara.
To be
successful, you will have...
- Possession of, or
substantial progress towards, the attainment of a certificate,
diploma or masters in Child & Adolescent Community Health
Nursing (or equivalent) through an accredited
institution.
- Demonstrated well
developed interpersonal skills and ability to communicate
across a diverse spectrum of the population.
- Understanding of the
principles and practice of Primary Health Care and the
application to practice.
- Demonstrated ability to
work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary
team.
- Demonstrated knowledge
and understanding of cultural issues and social determinants
particularly relating to Aboriginal and culturally and
linguistically diverse communities in regional/rural
areas.
Position
Profile:
This position
promotes the health and well- being of children, families and
specific community groups using a range of health promotion, health
education, surveillance and early intervention strategies that are
based on the principles of primary health care and service
priorities.
This role
requires the ability to travel within the region as required
including overnight stays.
