The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) is a critical participant in the administration of justice within Western Australia, providing an independent and effective criminal prosecution service and confiscation practice.

We are seeking high‑performing individuals to join our Travel Team. Applicants will have experience in travel bookings, a strong team focus, initiative, well‑developed communication skills, and the ability to problem‑solve and work to tight timeframes.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a recruitment pool. This pool will run for a period of twelve months and may be used to fill other similar permanent and fixed-term full time and part time vacancies if they arise and subject to business needs

The Travel Officers will facilitate travel and accommodation arrangements for internal and external clients at the ODPP for the attendance at court proceedings in the Metropolitan and Circuit Regions, in addition to other required business travel.

The Travel Officer (Level 2) will:

  • Arrange air, bus and rail travel bookings.
  • Arrange accommodation, meal allowances and taxi and ride share bookings.
  • Calculate Fuel allowance for private vehicle use.
  • Consolidate approvals and reconciling bookings with the ODPP Finance Team.
  • Provide customer service to internal and external clients
  • Maintain accurate and transparent records
  • Complete clerical and admin duties specific to the role, including preparation of letters to travellers.

The positions require participation in the Travel Team availability roster after hours and on weekends.
