The School

The Role
The successful applicant will ideally be student and relationship-focused, highly motivated, innovative and able to work effectively in a team environment. Adopting inclusive and restorative practices, and building positive relationships with students, staff and the community, are important components of the role. The desired applicant will ideally have detailed knowledge and understanding of the latest Years 7 - 10 Western Australian (WA) English Curriculum, and recent experience teaching the Year 11 and 12 General and/or ATAR English courses is advantageous. The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to work across year groups, according to the school’s needs. The successful applicant should possess the professional knowledge, understanding and experience to deliver engaging, differentiated and relevant secondary English content, and be proficient at developing resources that meet students’ educational needs. The desired applicant will ideally be a collegiate and collaborative team member, and they should have enthusiasm for contributing to a positive culture in the department and the wider school community.
