This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 4, 2026

Piara Waters Senior High School (SHS) is situated in the beautifully landscaped suburb of Piara Waters, approximately 25kms south of Perth. The school is surrounded by luscious greenery and forms part of the vibrant, multicultural community of Piara Waters. The school commenced with Year 7 students in 2023, and presently has Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 cohorts. Each year the school adds to its growing cohort, until it reaches Year 12 in 2028.

The Role

The successful applicant should be highly motivated, student-focused and able to provide engaging, relevant and meaningful Technologies learning experiences. The successful applicant would work in fully equipped state-of-the-art kitchens and/or Textiles classroom facilities. We encourage the use of innovative and creative teaching strategies, incorporating the ability to differentiate the curriculum according to student need.

As a teacher at Piara Waters SHS, you should be student and relationship focused, highly motivated, innovative and able to work effectively in a team environment, as well as display an engaging and energetic teaching style.  The opportunity to grow within a foundation setting whilst growing the Technologies learning area, is a feature of this role
