The Opportunity

Are you passionate about road safety and helping others succeed? The Department of Transport & Major Infrastructure (DTMI) is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Driver Assessors.

About the Role

As a Driver Assessor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and competency of Western Australian drivers. You’ll conduct practical driving assessments, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the development of safe driving practices of people in our Southwest Region.

In this role your positive approach and excellent communication skills will be your greatest asset as you conduct practical driving assessments for a wide variety of candidates seeking licences. Using your high attention to detail and the training provided, you will assess the candidate’s ability to meet the required standards of competency and provide comprehensive feedback in a compassionate and informative manner.

Our Busselton Office currently has 1 permanent vacancy available for immediate filling and our Bunbury Office has 1 six-month vacancy with possibility for extension or permanency.
