The EMR
Program is a consumer-centred program that supports healthcare
providers to perform their roles enabling safety and quality to be
at the heart of care for every consumer. It has been established to
digitally transform WA Health’s clinical information management
systems by delivering a statewide EMR solution for WA Health. The
EMR Program will incorporate changes to technology, business
processes and culture. It will take advantage of innovations in
digital health care to improve patient safety and quality of care
for the Western Australian community regardless of their
location.
The EMR
Program comprises several projects including:
- Clinical
transformation;
- Technical and
infrastructure delivery;
- Procurement and contract
management;
- Workforce and
change;
- Implementation planning;
and
- Business, project, and
program operations.

About
the Role:
We are
seeking a dynamic, motivated and experienced Manager
Communications who will be responsible for the development
and delivery of a strategic communications plan in support of the
system-wide EMR Program, aligned with WA Health and
whole-of-government objectives. This position will be a key
contact point for communication initiatives both within and
external to the WA health system on all matters relating to the EMR
Program.

WA Health engages staff in
positions of trust and responsibility. WA Health policies require

Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12)
months from when the authorised delegate endorses the
