the Role

PoweringWA
is driving Western Australia’s energy transition, leading efforts
to decarbonise our energy systems while powering the State’s future
growth. By working with industry, government and communities, we
are accelerating new transmission, generation and storage projects
and ensuring the benefits of the transition are shared across the
State.
We are
seeking a Director,
Communications and Coordination to lead the Energy
Transition Communications Division at PoweringWA. This critical
leadership role is responsible for providing strategic direction
across all communication functions
including behavioural change, campaign management, CX
and digital
communications, brand management and promotional/marketing
activities.
As Director,
Communications and Coordination, you will lead the Energy
Transition Communications team, building a high-performing,
values-driven team and delivering communications outcomes within
approved resources and timeframes.
You will be
the principal advisor to strategic communications relating to the
energy transition, coordinating activity with Ministers’ offices,
Government Trading Enterprises and the DEED media team.
If you are
an accomplished communications professional with extensive
experience leading strategic communications in a complex
environment this is an outstanding opportunity to make a lasting
impact during a once‑in‑a‑generation energy transition.
