The Role

In collaboration with the Principal and members of the school leadership team, the successful applicant will provide educational leadership across the school community with a focus on Kindergarten to Year 2. The successful applicant will play a key role in driving the school’s improvement agenda that is focussed on the delivery of high-quality instructional practice and student wellbeing. You will ideally provide strong instructional leadership and work to ensure whole school approaches are embedded in classroom practice. Demonstrated experience in student services is also desirable.

The K-2 Deputy Principal would lead and manage the K-2 phase, comprising 200 students and 9 classes, joining a cohesive leadership team consisting of the Principal, Year 3-6 Deputy Principal and Manager of Corporate Services. The school plans to add an instructional coach soon with whom the K-2 Deputy would work closely to support teachers.
