Time appointment for 6 months at 45.60 hours per fortnight (0.6
FTE), with the possibility of extension(s).
Position
Profile: We are seeking a suitably experienced and
enthusiastic person to join our dynamic Endocrinology team. As the
Clinical Nurse - Endocrinology, you will provide clinical and
professional expertise to ensure comprehensive evidence based
nursing care is delivered to patients in both the inpatient and
outpatient setting. Key responsibilities will
include: 1. Management of patients with Endocrine disorders
including growth, thyroid, puberty and adrenal. 2. Provide family
centred education such steroid sick day management, growth hormone
injections, glucose monitoring for hyperinsulinism 3. Provide
clinical support to ward staff managing inpatient with complex
Endocrine disorders 4. Participate in ongoing professional
development 5. Maintenance of clinical data and service
outcomes.
