FPC owns and manages softwood plantations to support WA’s housing and construction industry. We are actively investing in the acquisition of new land and plantations to ensure future supply and assist in addressing the challenges of climate change.
FPC has transitioned its native forest business in alignment with the government’s changes in forest policy. This has resulted in a shift from commercial scale forest harvesting to the provision of services to the Department of Biodiversity Conservation and Attractions for forest health outcomes.
About the role
The Senior Forester (Silviculture) coordinates the implementation of softwood plantation establishment and maintenance operations within the Silviculture team and controls resources to ensure satisfactory progress of allocated works program.

About you
You are a values‑driven, forward‑thinking professional with demonstrated experience in forestry or other land management operations. You bring strong contract management capability, including specification of conditions and standards, calling and recommending contracts, administering contracts and managing disputes. As a people leader you supervise and coach staff across dispersed locations, foster open communication and teamwork and actively support training and development and safety programs to ensure high-quality and compliant outcomes.
