About The Role:

The Senior Building Quality Officer undertakes building design and documentation reviews, research and development of technical guidelines, manuals, templates and project briefs in addition to post occupancy evaluations. This position is responsible for providing technical project advice and assists project teams of in-house and private sector professionals to plan, deliver and maintain non-residential buildings for Government.

About You:

In this role, you will work collaboratively to provide strategic technical advice that supports the delivery of high-quality public buildings for the WA community. Our ideal candidate will be detail oriented and technically minded, with knowledge and experience in the design and delivery of public buildings. You will have strong communication skills, and value working collaboratively with the team, other parts of the Department, with external agencies, and consultants.

The position operates in Personal Leadership context. This means that you are required to demonstrate personal accountability for delivering excellence and support your team and agency in delivering strategic goals. You will be expected to build and nurture relationships and be willing to seek feedback and learn.
