fortnight.

Whilst this selection
process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may
also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the

Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12)
months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment

Position
Profile: The Infectious Diseases Ambulatory Care (IDAC)
Clinical Nurse works within the multidisciplinary team to provide
clinical and professional expertise within the Infectious Diseases
specialty. The IDAC CN collaborates with the ambulatory care team
and related home therapy services such as Home Hospital to ensure
comprehensive and evidence-based care is being delivered to
patients. The IDAC CN facilitates and promotes patient safety and
quality nursing care. The IDAC CN practices within their scope of
practice considerate of the Nursing and Midwifery Board’s Nursing
Practice Decision flowchart.
Area Profile: The East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS)
comprises an extensive hospital and health service network that
aims to maintain and improve the health and wellbeing of more than
670,000 Western Australians in its catchment area.
Our hospital
network works together to provide a combination of tertiary,
secondary and specialist health care services including emergency
and critical care, state trauma, elective and emergency surgery,
general medical, mental health, inpatient and outpatient services,
aged care, palliative care, rehabilitation and women’s, children’s
and neonates services.
