About the opportunity
There are currently two, permanent, full-time positions available for immediate filling.
As a Senior Facilities Officer, you will coordinate the operation and maintenance of DPIRD facilities across the Perth metropolitan area, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory and operational requirements. You will provide specialist advice, support policy and procedure development, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain efficient and effective facility operations. The role also involves overseeing fleet and logistics coordination, delivering high-quality customer service, and providing leadership to support continuous improvement and day-to-day operations.
We are looking for individuals with:
- Possession of a relevant tertiary qualification in agriculture, environmental management, facilities management or a related field.
- Experience working with government agricultural agencies, research institutions, or regional service delivery programs.
- Demonstrated experience in facilities management, including maintenance coordination and compliance oversight.

DPIRD is an Emergency Management Agency, and all employees may be required to work or travel during, or outside of, normal business hours to assist with incidents and emergencies.
