The Role

Applications are invited for the new position of People and Culture Strategy and Performance Coordinator.

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the role is responsible for leading and coordinating the delivery of initiatives aligned to the organisation’s people and culture plans to achieve workforce outcomes.

The position plays a key role in facilitating and coordinating the delivery of initiatives within the organisations People and Culture strategy; Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan; Disability Access and Inclusion Plan; Reconciliation Action Plan; Multicultural Plan and Organisational Learning, Training and Development Plan.

The Person

You bring strong capability in providing strategic people and culture advice within a complex organisation. You will have the capabilities to manage multiple and competing priorities, work effectively within a high performing team environment and contribute to achieving business outcomes through being agile, curious and focused on solutions.

You will also have the capability to draw upon your contemporary people and culture experiences and knowledge to ensure the coordinated delivery of people and culture initiatives in an organisation undergoing a period of transformation.

The Insurance Commission is a State owned Government Trading Enterprise that provides motor injury insurance to 2.7 million Western Australian motorists and manages the self-insurance arrangements of the Western Australian Government.

The Insurance Commission generated $1.4 billion in revenue over six months to 31 December 2025 and holds nearly $9.7 billion in assets, making it a major self-funded statutory authority.
