What is our Senior
Occupational Therapist role?
The Senior Occupational Therapist provides advanced occupational
therapy services to consumers of the Community Adult Mental Health
Service. They manage an allocated case load of consumers with a
mental illness, undertaking clinical assessments and implementing
therapeutic interventions. The Senior Occupational Therapist also
contributes to the leadership of the multidisciplinary team,
reviews relevant services and programs, engages in quality
improvement and change initiatives. They provide expert
occupational
therapy consultancy and education for multidisciplinary teams and
other agencies and stakeholders.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the
above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar"

vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected
from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period
of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses
the recruitment decision.
