Are you a senior HR Professional who thrives in complex environments, delivering high-level advice and expert guidance across a broad range of human resource matters?

 

This is a fixed-term five-year contract with the possibility of a further contract and/or extension. Suitable applicants may be considered for other similar vacancies within the next 12 months. This is a full-time position. Part time 0.8 FTE will be considered for the right applicant.


THE WORKING ENVIRONMENT

The Corruption and Crime Commission (CCC) is a leading anti-corruption agency whose primary purpose is to strengthen the integrity of the public sector, reduce corruption and disrupt criminal activity for the benefit of our community.

The Corporate Services Directorate ensures delivery of high-quality corporate support services to the Commission. This includes the effective and efficient delivery of human resources and work health and safety, financial services, and information management and technology services.

 

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Senior Human Resources Consultant manages a range of human resource related matters across the Commission. The immediate focus of this role is:

  • Providing high level advice, support and guidance to managers and employees on a broad range of people and culture matters.
  • Understanding and applying employment-related legislation, regulations and instructions, having regard to organisational risk and strategic priorities including talent attraction, engagement and retention.
  • Leading, coaching and developing HR Business Partners who deliver services and support to a portfolio of internal customers.
  • Leading and/or supporting the CHRO to develop and deliver agency-wide HR projects, priorities and plans.

 

The Commission requires applicants to be Australian citizens or be immediately eligible for citizenship, and employment is conditional on you possessing and maintaining a national security classification of LEVEL 1 – NEGATIVE VETTING or higher.
