About the role

Under the direction of the Team Leader, Health Information Management, you will be responsible for performing various information and records management tasks. These duties include ensuring that all corporate, offender, and health information and records are properly captured, classified, maintained, filed, scanned, and retrieved in accordance with the Department’s Recordkeeping Plan, as well as relevant policies, processes, and procedures.
Successful applicants must have the ability to lift boxes not exceeding 16kg.
Eligibility
To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.
Applicants must have a valid C class Driver's License as you'll be required to travel to other locations between Perth CBD and metropolitan sites.

- Provide a comprehensive Resume / Curriculum Vitae, that clearly outlines your transferable skills, experience and highlights your key achievements.

- A statement of no more than two (2) pages addressing the following Job related requirements and Role Specific Criteria below as listed on the JDF. Please provide examples to support your claims.
- Achieve Results - The ability to see tasks through to completion; rescheduling and reorganising work to reflect changes in priority. Applies own expertise to work tasks, learn new products and services and maintain accurate records and file.
- Communicates and Influences Effectively - The ability to explain information using language appropriate to the client while limiting the use of jargon, listen and ask questions to ensure understanding and to confirm that the message has been understood and to discuss issues calmly.
- Relevant experience with records and information management including software and supporting technologies.
