An opportunity exists for a
talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse to join the Mental Health
team in this newly created role in the Step Up Step Down Unit in
Karratha.
To be successful, you will
have...
- Demonstrate knowledge of
and experience with psychiatric disorders and treatment
interventions, and principles of community based mental health
care and illness prevention.
- Demonstrated well
developed written and verbal communication, negotiating and
problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to
work with clients from a variety of cultural and ethnic
groups.
- A working knowledge of
the WA Mental Health Act (2014) and other relevant
legislation.
- Demonstrated ability to
work with other health professionals with a multi-disciplinary
team.
- Knowledge of computer
applications, word processing skills.
- Eligible for / or in
possession of a current C or C-A Class drivers licence or other
specialised licence class.

Provides assessments, risk
planning, implements and evaluates, Community Mental Health Nursing
care to consumers of the
Regional Step Up Step Down facility as part of Pilbara Mental
Health Service.
