About the Opportunity
We’re seeking a proactive Fleet Management Officer to support the day-to-day coordination of DTMI’s vehicle fleet. In this role you’ll help manage vehicle acquisition and disposal processes, support vehicle schemes and compliance activities, maintain accurate fleet information, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to keep our fleet operating safely and efficiently.
We currently have one part-time fixed-term position available for immediate filling at 0.5 FTE (37.5 hours per fortnight) with the possibility of extension and/or permanency available for immediate filling. This is a great opportunity for those seeking flexibility!

About you
- Experience supporting fleet operations in a large, diverse organisation
- Clear written and verbal communication, with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Sound judgement and problem-solving ability, with a focus on practical outcomes
- Highly organised, able to prioritise work and meet timeframes
- Accurate and systems-focused (e.g., maintaining databases/Booking Manager or similar)
- Relevant trade qualification and/or strong administrative experience (desirable)
Successful applicants will be required to hold or obtain a current National Police Clearance prior to commencement.

(SC1) Relevant experience working within a large fleet management environment within a diverse and complex organisation.
(SC2) Verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to liaise, negotiate and interact with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
(SC3) Analytical, research and investigative skills, including the ability to resolve problems.
