About
the Role
Perth
Children’s Hospital and Neonatology (PCHN) are seeking a
Senior Project Officer to join our Hospital
Operations team
As a Senior
Project Officer, you will work closely with the Executive Director
and senior leaders to and plan, coordinate and deliver a portfolio
of projects and strategic initiatives aimed at driving better
outcomes for children and families across Western Australia. This
includes supporting the delivery of key strategic priorities and
initiatives related to service reform, innovation, and system
improvement – such as winter demand strategies, emergency access
and response initiatives, outpatient reform, and elective surgery
waitlist improvements.
Your ability
to partner with clinical and operational teams to design, implement
and evaluate initiatives that enhance service delivery and patient
outcomes will be key in translating strategy into
action.
Key
responsibilities include:
- Leading
and managing multiple complex projects aligned to PCHN
strategic priorities
- Developing business
cases, project plans, implementation strategies and evaluation
frameworks
- Contribute to the
development and review of policies, operational plans and
processes and innovation initiatives
- Monitoring project
risks, issues and dependencies, and implementing mitigation
strategies
- Develop
high-quality reports, briefings, and governance documentation,
to track performance against milestones and deliverable,
evaluate project outcomes and support continuous
improvement
- Building
strong relationships with clinical, operational and executive
stakeholders and ensuring effective consultation and alignment
across diverse stakeholder groups
- Facilitating working
groups, committees and project governance forums
About
You
If you have
sound project management experience, ideally within
healthcare, service reform, or change
environments, together with excellent organisational
skills, and the ability to navigate complexity and competing
priorities we encourage you to apply.
