What is our Clinical Nurse Consultant -
Transfusion Medicine role?
Responsible
for providing a clinical consultancy service within an assigned
area of specialty across hospital services and external sites;
monitoring and developing evidence-based standards of practice;
implementing changes to clinical practice; policy development;
educating staff and initiating research and quality improvement
activities. Demonstrates leadership and role modelling for nurses
and midwives.

Pregnancy Choice and Abortion Care, Pregnancy Loss Service,
Women and Newborn Drug and Alcohol Service, Adolescent and

WA.
- Home to
a state‑of‑the‑art Special Care Nursery
- Comprehensive
gynaecological services supporting around 5,000 women
annually
WNHS also
manages key statewide programs, including BreastScreen WA, and
other specialist services supporting women and babies across the

Eligibility to Apply: Australian citizenship or permanent residency

above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar"
vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this,
should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised
vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected
from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period
of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses
the recruitment decision.
