ABOUT THE ROAD SAFETY COMMISSION
The Road Safety Commission exists to make every journey safe for all Western Australians. We unite the system, bringing together government, industry and communities to act as one. We change behaviour with insight, using evidence and data to help change people’s attitudes and behaviours and are powered by the community for the community. This role directly influences community and stakeholder perceptions of the Road Safety Commission through positive and high-quality visual design.

THE OPPORTUNITY
The Road Safety Commission is seeking a strategic and dynamic leader to deliver innovative communication and marketing plans, strategies and targeted campaigns to support delivery of road safety priorities that influence positive behaviour change on WA Roads.
THE ROLE
Leading a small team and supporting the Education and Behaviour Change Unit, the Manager Marketing oversees the development and delivery of behaviour change campaigns, social media and online content and mentors the marketing team to develop its capability, skills and experience
This position is available as of 1 July 2026 for 6 months with possible extension.

Pay and Leave
- Employer contribution of 12% superannuation in addition to your salary.

A. Strategic and digital communication skills - Developing and implementing innovative multi-media behaviour change campaigns and strategies.
B. Leadership skills with the ability to deliver quality outcomes and build team capability and skills - Managing and leading teams to deliver quality outcomes. Providing guidance to staff and influencing people in the achievement of objectives. Identifying learning opportunities for others and empowering them by delegating tasks. Building team capability and skills.
C. Analytical, Conceptual and Research Skills - Recognising the links between interconnected issues and provide advice to mitigate problems. Keeping self and others well informed on work issues and thinking laterally to identify and implement improved work practices. Utilising research, analytical and problem-solving skills to develop evidence-based recommendations to complex problems.
