About the
Role

The State Development and
Project Facilitation group leads and assists the development and
expansion of the State’s resources and industry sectors, strategic
industrial land investment and major infrastructure
projects.

We are seeking a Senior
Project Officer to join the Industrial Land Activation team for the
Western Trade Coast. The Western Trade Coast stands as Western
Australia’s premier metropolitan hub for strategic and heavy
industry. The Western Trade Coast has been the backbone of the
State’s economy for more than 60 years and continues to grow and
evolve its role in local and global supply chains, supporting key
industries including green iron, critical mineral processing, new
energies and advanced manufacturing.
As a Senior Project Officer,
you will manage complex projects aligned with state development
priorities, including the development of Strategic Industrial
Areas, state-significant infrastructure projects, and departmental
strategic initiatives. You will oversee land use planning and
economic development projects for Strategic Industrial Areas,
including identifying infrastructure requirements.
This role will consult and
collaborate across the department, government, industry, and the
community to support project development and implementation, and
represent the State in negotiations and discussions with key
stakeholders.
