About the role
The Assistant Workers Compensation Officer is responsible for the effective and efficient performance of administrative support within the Workers Compensation and Injury Management Team. The incumbent will assist with administration activities associated with workers’ compensation matters including quality assurance and processing of claims, income compensation and other related matters.

To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.

- Provide a statement of no more than one (1) page addressing the following Essential Capability Requirements below as listed on the JDF. Please provide examples to support your claims.
- In the context of Professional Expertise and Results Driven - Explain how you have previously interpreted and applied legislation, policy, or procedural requirements in your role. How did you ensure accuracy, compliance, and confidence in the advice or information you provided?
- In the context of Credible Influence and Culture and Change Management - Describe a situation in which you demonstrated professionalism and credibility while dealing with sensitive, complex, or challenging matters. How did your behaviour contribute to a positive team culture and support organisational values?
Applicants who do not address the above requirements will not be progressed to interview.

Subsequent Vacancies
