About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Digital Communications Officer to join our team based in Don Aitken Centre East Perth. In this role you will work collaboratively with our media, internal communications and strategic communications teams and play a key part in delivering integrated, consistent, timely and accurate content across Main Roads digital channels that support or strategic direction to Keep WA Moving.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop, curate and schedule operational communication plans for major events and roadworks across Main roads’ digital channels.
- Develop and deliver digital communications using Main Roads Content Management Systems and Customer Relationship Management System.
- Facilitate the implementation of policies, guidelines and procedures and provide support and advice in the use of online tools and the delivery of online content.
- Contribute to and support initiatives that promote and encourage the use of online communication and engagement tools by internal stakeholders to meet corporate objectives.
- Review and report on analytics, key metrics and industry trends.
About You
To be successful you will be:
- experienced in developing communication plans and delivering content across digital channels.
- required to demonstrate skills in research, analysis and problem solving that have contributed to improving customer focussed, digital communications.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of skill in building and enhancing stakeholder relationships.

Additional Information
All selection criteria listed in the Job Role Statement will be tested throughout the selection process.
