for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialist to join
the team at Marble Bar Nursing Post in
Pilbara.
To be successful, you will have...
- Current knowledge of legislative obligations for Equal
Opportunity, Disability Services and Occupational Safety and
Health, and how these impact on employment and service
delivery.
- Knowledge and understanding of the principles of Primary
Health Care and Community Development.
- Broad nursing experience with recent accident and emergency
skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part
of a multi-disciplinary team in a remote Aboriginal community
or cross-cultural setting.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication
skills (both written and verbal).
- Demonstrated well developed problem solving and negotiation
skills.
- Pharmacology competency or working towards same.
Position Profile:
To work as a member of a multidisciplinary team within a primary
healthcare framework in partnership with the community and other
organisations. To provide planned, coordinated and comprehensive
primary health and emergency care to families and individuals of
that community.
