The Opportunity
The Neurodevelopmental Disability Assessment Services (NDAS) is a statewide provider of diagnostic assessments for autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disability.

As a Senior Psychologist,  you will participate as a member of the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Services (NDAS) Team to provide psychological assessments, reports and consultation for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and/or Intellectual Disability (ID). You will have the opportunity to be part of a highly skilled diagnostic team, working alongside Speech Pathologists to complete assessments at Communities’ clinics or in the community, throughout both metropolitan and regional WA. We are looking for Senior Psychologists with a strong background in child development and experience and training in delivering robust and high quality ASD and/or ID assessments. This position offers ongoing clinical supervision, a highly supportive team and opportunities for extensive travel within WA.

There are currently fixed term and permanent positions available for immediate filing.

The successful applicant or applicants assessed as suitable through this process may receive further offers of contract employment and/or offers of permanent employment in this or similar roles.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments will be made for this or similar future vacancies (fixed term or permanent) that arise within the next 12 months across the Department of Communities. 

For Psychologist Roles:

Psychologist Operational Officer Qualified Level 2: Tertiary degree qualification in Psychology approved by the Psychology Board of Australia AND 'General Registration' as a Psychologist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Psychologist Operational Officer Qualified  Level 3: A 2-year post graduate masters degree in Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychology or approved equivalent and be eligible for registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and specialist endorsement with AHPRA for this position.
