What
is our Dentist in Charge role?
The Dentist
in Charge directs and oversees the operations of the dental clinic
and School Dental Service in the Kalgoorlie area. As well as
managing staff and maintaining equipment, you will also provide
routine and advanced clinical treatment to enrolled patients. You
will also develop epidemiological data for the clinical area and
initiate relevant community dental care programs aimed at improving
dental health in the community by liaison with dentists, service
organisations, education and local authorities and relevant
community groups.

public dental health services provider in WA, operating state-wide
from a network of fixed and mobile clinics, funded by the WA
Government. DHS provides the School Dental Service for children
aged 5-16 years, General Dental Services to eligible adults with a
current health care card or pension concession card, Subsidy
Schemes and Special Dental Services.

Eligibility
to Apply: Australian citizenship or permanent residency is
an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for
permanent positions in the public sector. To be eligible for a
fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your

contract.

selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy,
it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout
the health service. In addition to this, should the successful
applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next
most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process.
Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12)
months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment
decision.
