This is a recruitment pool for Permanent Full Time, and Fixed Term Full Time appointments. Fixed Term appointments will be made with possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur until 31 December 2026.

What is our Senior Pharmacist role?

As part of the Senior Pharmacist team you are expected to promote safe, rational and cost-effective drug therapy by providing and coordinating clinical pharmacy services which include:

  • Medication management, maintenance of medication protocols, and the provision of high-quality support and education for patients and healthcare providers.
  • Providing drug information and underaking teaching and research.
  • Ensuring practice is in accordance with the Pharmacy Board of Australia Registration Standards, the Pharmacy Board of Australia Codes and Guidelines including the Pharmacy Code of Conduct for Registered Health Practitioners and NMHS policies and guidelines.
