What is our
Senior Pharmacist (Oncology) role?
The Senior
Pharmacist (Oncology) leads the pharmacy service provided to the
Oncology Specialty areas including inpatient services for Oncology
and outpatient services delivered through the Cancer Centre. The
role promotes safe, rational and cost-effective medicine therapy by
providing specialised clinical pharmacy services which include
monitoring of the patient's total medication profile; plans
implements and evaluates patient safety and quality of care;
ensures practice is in accordance with the Pharmacy Board of
Australia Regulation Standards, the Pharmacy Board of Australia
Codes and Guidelines including Pharmacy Code of Conduct for
Registered Health Practitioners and NMHS Policies and
guidelines.

Eligibility to Apply:
To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have
documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in
Australia for the period of the contract.
Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential
requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions
in the public sector.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the
above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar"
vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this,
should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised
vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected
from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period
of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses
the recruitment decision.
