Are you a leader of
Nurses and Midwives with a passion for advancing research and
improving clinical outcomes?
We are seeking an
exceptional Nurse Midwife Director (Research) to
lead, influence, and shape the research agenda across our South
Metropolitan Health Service.
This is a Permanent Full
Time/Part -Time appointment (0.6 FTE - 1.0
FTE).
We are
seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our team. The
successful applicant will be responsible for undertaking the
following key leadership duties:
- Implementation and
review of a SMHS Nursing and Midwifery Research Strategy and
Operational Plan.
- Development of
opportunities for nursing/midwifery led research
projects.
- Support
education and awareness of beginning researcher
methods.
- Establish
nursing/midwifery research trials and submission of relevant
grant applications.
- Provide
professional leadership in nursing/midwifery research to build
nursing/midwifery research capacity and culture.
SMHS delivers

catchment area stretching more than 3300 square kilometres across
the southern half of Perth.

To be eligible
for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for
fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent
resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia
(for permanent appointments).
