Fellow - Respiratory (Lung Cancer Interventional
Pulmonology)
This
is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time and Fixed Term Part
Time appointments for 6-12 months with the possibility of
extension(s).
Suitable
applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be
made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from
this pool until 30/09/2026.
Position Profile:
This position offers a year of
experience in all aspects of the lung cancer and interventional
pulmonology service. Candidates will fill a pivotal role in
organising and implementing investigation and initial management of
patients with thoracic cancer, the assessment of central airway and
pleural disorders, and gain competence in a wide range of
interventional pulmonology procedures. It is suitable for
candidates who have completed their core respiratory
training.
About Us:
Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary
hospital offering a range of health services including the State
Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre,
purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and
neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also
delivers specialised services such as heart and lung
transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
