The
Opportunity
We cover
Emergency and elective surgery, the exposure to speciality
comprises of general surgical, ENT, Orthopaedics, Vascular,
Urology, Obstetrics-Gynaecology and more.

About
the Role
In this role,
you will:
- Provide
patient-centred care as a Scrub/Scout nurse across a range of
surgical specialties.
- Prepare
the operating theatre, instruments and equipment for
procedures.
- Work
closely with surgeons, anaesthetists and theatre teams to
ensure smooth surgical workflows.
- Caring
for patients post operatively and providing patient centered
care in patients with varied complexities.
- Maintain
strict aseptic technique and infection control
standards.
- Assist
with stock control, instrument care and theatre
safety.
- Support
and mentor students and junior nurses.
About
You
You are a
compassionate, dedicated, and skilled RN who thrives in a
fast-paced Theatres environment and is committed to delivering
high-quality, patient-centered care.
You will
have:
- Current
AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum
2 years scrub/scout or recovery experience in
theatre
- Recent
experience in a perioperative Scrub/Scout or recovery
role.
- Sound
knowledge of surgical procedures and instrument
handling.
- Excellent teamwork,
communication and time management skills.
- A
commitment to safe practice and continuous
improvement.
- Flexibility to work
across a rotating roster, including weekends and on-call as
required.
- Current
working rights in Australia (visa sponsorship is not
available for this role).
