fastest growing public health service providers and operates as
part of the South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS). It delivers a
comprehensive range of hospital and community based healthcare
services across the Rockingham, Kwinana, Mandurah, and Peel
regions. SMHS supports a large and continually expanding
population, providing care to more than 698,616 residents within a
3,300 km² catchment area across the southern metropolitan
corridor.
As RkPG’s principal hospital, Rockingham General
Hospital offers extensive clinical services including
emergency medicine, surgery, paediatrics, aged care rehabilitation,
mental health, chemotherapy, obstetrics, and intensive care,
ensuring high quality and accessible care for the community.
SMHS delivers quality, safe and effective hospital and health
services within a catchment area stretching more than 3300 square
kilometres across the southern half of Perth.

maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the
hospital areas as directed by the Coordinator Patient Support
Services or their delegate

residency status in Australia. To be eligible for a fixed term
