Position
Profile: We are seeking
compassionate and capable Registered Nurses to join our Paediatric
Palliative Care and Hospice team. In this role, you will deliver
high‑quality, family‑centred care to children with life‑limiting
conditions, working collaboratively with our Clinical Nurses and
wider multidisciplinary team.
You will provide clinical
care while also bringing warmth, reassurance and stability to
children and families navigating some of the most challenging
moments of their lives, ensuring families feel supported, respected
and cared for throughout their child’s journey.
This may include:
- Providing safe,
evidence‑based nursing care aligned with Hospital and Hospice
standards.
- Contribute to
assessment, planning and evaluation of patient
care.
- Coordinate daily hospice
activities and support efficient workload
management.
- Act as a
role model by guiding junior staff and nursing
students.
- Participate in quality
improvement, accreditation activities and palliative care
research.
- Uphold
CAHS Values, the WA Health Code of Conduct and child safety
principles.
- Maintain
a safe work environment and commit to ongoing professional
development.
About the
Sandcastles (Boodja Mia) Children’s Hospice: Due to
commence operations mid-2026.This purpose-built, world-class
paediatric hospice, located on the stunning Western Australian
coast, offers statewide specialist paediatric palliative care
services for children and young people (0–18 years) who are living
with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, and their
