THE OPPORTUNITY
The Road Safety Commission is seeking a Digital Communications Officer to join the expanding Communication team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the digital and online communication and digital social media platforms, targeting audiences to promote the Road Safety Commissions vision to get people home to the one they love.
THE ROLE
Leading a small dynamic team, with support of the Digital Strategy Coordinator, the role is responsible for the development of social media strategies and producing content for various platforms and targeting audiences across digital platforms with the intent to encourage safe behaviours and reduce serious crashes on Western Australian Roads.
Interviews for the position are anticipated to be held in late May 2026.

- Social media and digital channel management skills – Developing, implementing and managing digital channels and social media.
- Social media content creation skills – Formulating social media content to a professional standard.
- Communication and stakeholder engagement skills – Consulting with internal and external stakeholders and interviewing talent.
- The attached Integrity Consent Form (Not required for current WA Police Force employees)
