join our dynamic Geraldton Government Dental Clinic team at Dental
Health Services (DHS).
This is for a Fixed
Term Full Time appointment with the possibility of
extentions.
What
is our Dental Clinic Assistant role?
The Dental Clinic Assistant
supports the Dentist in the day to day administration and running
of the clinic as well as providing chairside clinical assistance.
This role involves assisting during the examination and treatment
of patients. You are also responsible for maintaining patient
records in accordance with Dental Health Service
policies.

Location
Whilst this position is
based in Geraldton, regular visits are made to surrounding outreach
servcies. Accommodation and allowances are payable whilst outreach
services are being provided at the designated stopping
points.

a coastal city in Western Australia, about 420 km north of
Perth, known for its port facilities and scenic Indian Ocean
coastline. It is a key regional hub for the Mid West, with
Geraldton Hospital and associated rural health services
providing essential medical care to surrounding remote and
regional communities.

funded by the WA Government. DHS provides the School Dental Service
for children aged 5-16 years, General Dental Services to eligible

Eligibility to Apply:
Australian
citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for
applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public
sector. To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have
documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in
Australia for the period of the contract.
Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the
above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar"
vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this,
should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised
vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected
from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period
of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses
the recruitment decision.
