  • Lead and support the HVS Transport Inspectorate across WA in delivering consistent, effective compliance and enforcement activities.
  • Oversee statewide inspectorate operations, including workforce planning, scheduling, training, and resource allocation.
  • Strengthen on‑road compliance activities relating to heavy vehicles, including mass, dimension, load restraint and dangerous goods obligations.
  • Respond to emerging issues, emergency incidents, and sensitive or complex enquiries relating to the compliance and enforcement of heavy vehicles.
  • Manage investigations and ensure the quality and integrity of heavy vehicle compliance activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement by reviewing and enhancing operational policy, procedures, and performance systems.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders across government and industry.
  • Provide high‑level advice, analysis and briefing materials to senior leaders, including Ministerial responses.
