Role

DEED is seeking an experienced and transformative Talent
Acquisition Manager to join its People and Culture team.
If you bring a strategic mindset, strong project delivery
capability and a forward‑thinking approach, this is your

Stepping into this position, you will support the Talent
Acquisition team to drive fast, effective and future‑focused
recruitment strategies that support the agency’s evolving needs.
You will oversee recruitment and establishment reporting, manage
establishment processes, and, using your strong leadership skills,
foster a high‑performing, customer‑focused team culture to support
the delivery of exceptional recruitment service
In this role you will take the lead on implementing the new
Commissioner’s Instructions and embedding the department’s
candidate management system, ensuring a modern, streamlined and
compliant recruitment experience. You also partner closely with
DEED executives and leaders, providing expert advice on specialist,
leadership and senior executive recruitment, while overseeing all
senior executive appointment processes.
As an integral part of the Corporate Services leadership team,
you contribute to broader business planning and build strong,
collaborative relationships across the organisation and beyond,
while providing authoritative advice on industrial agreements,
policies and relevant legislation. You also maintain responsibility
for the department’s recruitment management platform.
